Senior Technician Walt Disney Theatre

Responsible for overseeing all technical operations in the theatre including audio, lighting, video, automation, rigging, pyrotechnics & special effects.
Responsible for ensuring all 4 Broadway-Style production shows were safely and efficiently rigged and de-rigged. Shows include Disneys Frozen, Dreams, Golden Mickeys & WAVS.
Administration of Tech teams personnel files including professional development, review, training & payroll. This includes ensuring the team gets paid as per the hours worked and is compliant with the Maritime Labour Convention standards of work and living.
Responsible for the overall safety of the theatre, equipment, team and day to day maintenance schedule including creating and updating risk assessments.
Maintaining a close working relationship with the Technical Production Manager and Cruise Director to ensure a smooth workflow is adhered to on a cruise by cruise basis and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Oversee the shows and produce detailed show reports, purchasing orders, automation checks and when required, show design paperwork.
